RITLOK weld ends are constructed to SCH. 80 or greater.
1. Remove the nut and ferrules from the RITLOK port.
2.This protects the nut and ferrules from weld heat.
3. Cover the RITLOK port threads with a protective device such as RITLOK Plug (DP).
4.This protects threads and sealing surface on the RITLOK port.
5.Finger-tighten the DP to use it many times.
6. Tack weld at four positions 90 degree apart.
7.This holds thefitting in alignment and concentricity.
8. Complete the welding.
9. Remove the protective device and replace the nut and ferrules.
